Phase 7

Phase 7 Objective: “Meditation Level and Casa de Julio"
By 31 December 2008 (3 weeks + Christmas)

·        With the restaurant running in its correct place on the Orion level (5), the Meditation Room becomes a place of tranquility used for meditation, reading, yoga or just listening to the wind chimes. Casa de Julio is improved for the paying guests

·        With the presentation and dance facilities in place the pyramid’s own work can begin as the tourist self development courses begin to evolve and  up to 10 paying tourists are visiting the complex each week

·        By now around 12 people will be on the crew because keeping rooms clean and handling some administration means all workers are busier (jobs are rotated). Staff training will be a key activity during this phase also

·        This is a time when the web site can be improved because real testimonials and photos can be included. This may mean that bookings will increase massively and thus available money exponentiates for the later stages

·        Another objective of this phase is to get solar powered electricity into the pyramid. This will be enough for cell phone and laptop charging along with lights. This is essential to avoid fire being used as light which might encourage smoking or be a fire risk

7.1            Meditation Room Walls & Doors

·        Add Walls, doors and windows.

·        The mosquitoes net windows will be removable for a better daytime airy feel.

7.2          MR Completed (Baños, Agua, Balcon)

·        Toilets added. All waterworks, sewage disposal and waterproofing are finished

·        Meditation benches and cushions added

·        Balcony and Hatch Safety Cover created. The safety cover is a movable panel that blocks up the central stairwell hole. Used for example when the artist is working on the roof directly above

·        Panel off inside ceiling ready for art and gold leafing. Artwork may start now

·        Add bookshelves for book donations.

7.3          Julio Completed (Bathrooms, Ceilings, Privacy)

·        A further two bathrooms are added on the Eastern side along with finishing off water, sewage and electricity

·        Machimbrado raised ceilings added

·        The stairwell is paneled off for privacy with a front door and window added. This stairwell paneling is to have Egyptian artwork painted onto it

·        Rest of furniture is added

7.4          Solar Powered Electricity

·        It may be possible to obtain a grant for this work.

·        It is proposed to replace leaves on the Meditation Room roof with solar paneling. If the panels need to be flat under the Equator sun then panels must fold inwards to the Meditation Room. (There is an architectural rule of this project that nothing but the Ankh may protrude the external pyramid shape)
