Phase 11
Phase
11 Objective:
“Platform
Level Complete"
“Phase
11 Objectives Discussed" ·
Complete
Theatre area, Swimming Pool Hatch, Gym, Toilets, Juice Bar, Internet up and
running ·
Finally
increase staff up to 44 ·
Two
months for Phase 11 may seem too aggressive but by now with more funds in place
it should be possible to have more construction working in parallel ·
The
shop also needs to be up and running and it will be necessary to source genuine
Artisan "Phase
11 Task Summary"
"Phase 11 Task Details" 11.1
Platform
Leaves (Recycled) ·
The
leaves from the Central Structure (168m²) are recycled and used on the outside
of the building (31m²) ·
At
the back of the stage there is also a 74m² area that is leaved. There is no
external wall behind the stage 11.2
Platform
Floor ·
The
floor is in the spider web pattern with the duality of the red Violeta and
yellow Anacaspi contrasting each other ·
The
outside floor boarding is Masaranduba and is tarred on the underside and laid
such that a small camber directs rain flow ·
There
is no boarding under the stage freeing up more space for the storage of chairs ·
The
swimming pool has a cover that can be applied within half an hour by 3 men or
women staff. The cover will rest on 5 iron supports that slide in from under the
rest of the floor and lock together to form a strong hub. (It may be necessary
to further support this with diagonal uprights that attach to the bottom on the
platform underwater. The cover will be an interlocking jigsaw of pieces each
weighing less than 100kg. These pieces will be stored between the Topa and
boards of floor adjacent to the pool 11.3
Stage
& Band Area ·
The
stage is 1 meter high and built directly onto the Spider Beams using Topa
Supports and Tabla Beams. (There is no floor boarding here). Careful
consideration is given to ensuring the area under the stage is friendly to
receiving the stacked benches of 400 people. The floor board pattern on stage
will be the same as it would have been 1m below. The front side of the stage
will also respect this spider web pattern ·
The
stage will also contain a trap door and small area accessible invisibly via the
stage rear. This gives actors hidden stage entrance from under the stage ·
The
band pit will already have been sunk 0.5m into the platform by this phase.
It’s continued extension 1m up gives seated musicians 1.5m clearance ·
The
stage height above the platform is 1m. Above this, the stage is 4.431m because
it extends into Queens. In the upper area plenty of beams will be added to take
heavy lights or “antigravity” props. Permanent ladders along with a 1m wide
walkway which is 3.4m up at the stage rear will aid lighting access ·
Long
black curtains will be draped in the traditional way around the sides and at the
back of the stage to hide actor entrances. Also the front curtains will be
decorated with Shipibo designs, This act will do much to associate the pyramid
with the Shipibo community and shamanism. The pyramid becomes the perfect place
to host the Shamanic Conferences 11.4
Platform
External Walls & Doors ·
The
rear of the stage does not have external walling as it is leaved to the ground ·
The
inside walls of the Internet Café and the Gymnasium have walls the same as the
windowed external walls of Remocaspi 11.5
Platform
Internal Walls & Doors ·
As
per drawings 11.6
Complete
Platform Building Work ·
Outside
benches and plant boxes the same as other floors. The entrance to the boat will
have an archway of climbing flowers. There is also plant boxes along the South
side of the canal. Plants should be encouraged to grow up the sides of the
Western stairwell pillars. Tendering the plants is a key activity of the staff
crew ·
The
bathrooms to be completed as per drawings ·
Raised
ceilings to be added in rooms that are the standard 2.7m high ·
The
swimming pool will have collapsible sides that extend a variable distance up to
5m into the water. This is to prevent swimmers from going under the pyramid 11.7
Platform
Furniture (Gym, Internet) ·
The
gym will be kitted out with 20 machines for cardio vascular and strength
exercise. A free weights area will be added. Also an area for floor exercise
will be included. Also a first aid post will be set-up including blood pressure
monitoring, scales, body fat measuring and basic urinary tests. If possible Live
Blood Analysis will be incorporated ·
The
seats for performances will be made using light wood. It is important that these
can be stacked neatly and stored under the stage. Furniture in the Internet Café
will include sofas. Around 10 tables and chairs will be included around the
poolside (Again these must be able to be stored under the stage) ·
The
Internet Café will contain 20 laptops for public use. These will be arranged in
a non linear way and chained to the desks. At the entrance the pyramid’s I.T.
employee will have his desk. As well as their I.T. promotional duties they will
manage the café. There is currently no plan to have WiFi access across the
pyramid thru fear of microwave pollution however this needs to be investigated.
Incidentally the pyramid will offer mobile phone hire to guests. Each room will
have a double electricity socket near to the desk ·
The
Reception Office will house the Pyramid’s main computers. The primary task of
these will be hotel booking, hotel security (plastic card key creation), pyramid
finances. The reception will also be responsible for linking with future clients
on the website and answering questions about the pyramid. This means the
reception job is actually highly skilled because it is linked with sales and
marketing. Their will be two receptionists whose hours overlap. The Staff
Manager (Ivan) will have his desk in the Reception Office. At night-time one of
the security guards will man the reception whilst the other patrols ·
The
reception bar will extend round to the juice bar and finally to the shop till.
This means some cover can easily be worked between staff on toilet breaks etc. 11.8
MR Gold Leafing ·
It
is hoped that the artwork in the Meditation Room will become famous across the
world. The commissioned artist is David
Hewson. Already David’s work is becoming more well known and he is
particularly skilled using gold leafing and working with esoterical content ·
David
has been asked to depict the Incan Trilogy on the four MR walls and has chosen
to use different tones of gold leaf to paint this. The area covers a surface of
88.4m². In terms of vertical height it is from 2.716m high (72cm above where
the windows end below), right up to 5.431m high where the glass apex starts.
This vertical height of 2.716 translates to a diagonal height of 3.453m hence
the large area. ·
It
has been decided that the art paneling should be removable so as not to damage
the art. This is because solar power panels will eventually be functioning on
the outside adjacent to the art and it is necessary to be able to rebuild the MR
roof or cater for moving sections that may want to re-angle with the sun ·
Necessary
scaffolding will be arranged in the MR to assist David |
