Pyramid Design - Kings (Level 3)

Overview

In this following drawing you can see the whole of the third level.  This is a 29.86m squared base.  We'll look at each part of it below in detail.  The top of the drawing is due East

The stairwells 

On Kings the Western stairwell finishes and the central stairwell above the swimming pool starts.  This central stairwell will go on to reach the 11m for the meditation room above

The stairs are a minimalist and seem to float.  The red and yellow woods work together to create a daring jazzy decor.  The balconies are not shown in the drawing above.  They are formed with three horizontal Remocaspi sticks of about 3" diameter.  It was decided to have the height of middle one of these respect Fibonacci's Goldern Ratio with a pyramid triangle made in the lower rectangle.  Interestingly when this was drawn it was discovered that the lower pyramid has the same angles as the pyramid itself, 52 degrees.  At the time I was amazed at this synchronicity

The stairwell is a light airy place so that the light from the glass apex in the meditation room can flood down and fill the central areas of the pyramid.  To aid this we are planning on having crystals suspended and hanging down the central pentagram area.  I still don't kno if it is possible but I would like different shaped prisms cutting such that the refracted light is the same colour for that level.  On Kings that is yellow

The central stairwell is a spiral and as the pyramid is a celebration of life, the central stairwell is a celebration of DNA and it's cosmic design.  Francis Crick, DNA discoverer, first perceived the double helix and structure of DNA whilst under the influence of LSD.  His view along with others, as Graham Hancock writes in Supernatural, is that the odds against such life having time to form on Earth are beyond the astronomical - more unlikely than the assembly of a Boeing 707 by a hurricane in a junkyard!

The Central Area of Kings

This area is open and can see thru Queens and down to the Platform two levels below.  For fun we decided to have a rope bridge cross the middle of this area

Note the red dots either side of the plan, these are Remocaspi columns and they go up to support the Lions floor above

The Library

To the right of the central area is a mini library.  This is a collection of all the books donated to the pyramid over the years.  We ask every guest to leave a copy of the book they consider the most positively influential on their lives.  The books are free to borrow as long as they stay on site

The room symmetrically opposite the library on the left is a storage room for beds.  This means we can vary the number of twin rooms easily

The Kings Dormitory

The Matrimonial Room

This has yet to be designed and is owned by project investor Virginia Burg.  The room is 8.53m x 8.53m

The room is for honeymoon couples from all around the world - it is expected to be a popular choice for spiritual couples.  To the East the room enjoys a view of the Amazonian sunrise and miles and miles of jungle - to the North the Itaya river
